Altar Server Training
Would you like to let others know how much you love God?
Would you like to help the Priests and Deacons at Mass?
Would you like to serve our community during Mass?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, maybe God is calling YOU to become an Altar Server! What would you say? Are there any requirements? Yes—an open heart, love for God and the Church, responsibility and that you have received your First Communion.
This is a very important liturgical role and I’m looking forward to ministering with you! So, please think and pray about it, talk with your parents, and if you want to give it a try and become an Altar Server please call me at 847-362-1005 or write me an email at emartinez@maryofvernon.org and I’ll give you more details!
Summer training dates for new Servers are August 11th & August 18th from 7:00pm until 8:30pm in the Church. Training sessions for the Fall will be announced soon!
