Well, ok, I’m not really writing this from the top of the pool table, but I could be. You see, with some help, I have been straightening and cleaning the Teen Room and the Youth Ministry Office. One of the results being that the teens have been playing pool for the last three weeks; something which hasn’t happened in over four and a half years. Another result was that when a fellow staff person recently stopped by my office they commented that they hadn’t realized that my office was carpeted. Yes, the floor really had been that cluttered.
Do you need a place to relax and chill? Do you need a place to temporarily “escape” from homework and the “have to’s” of life? Do you want to hear singing and musical instruments, or participate in karaoke? Then this event is for you!
Admission to our coffee house is FREE!!! You will enjoy all of the above plus cookies, muffins, chips, coffee, tea, cappuccino, hot chocolate and more.
High School Teens and 8th graders join us for a great time! There’ll be games, music, food, friends, and fun. Besides hearing a great presentation, you’ll be making connections with old friends and new.
(Yes, this event does take place the night we return from our Winter Retreat Weekend—it is not a type-o.)
We’ll be showing another great movie on our HUGE television.
There will be plenty of popcorn and other junk food and pop for everyone. We will share a short discussion after the movie. Invite a friend along.
Come to the Great Hall for a Great time!

Have a BLAST playing BINGO and visiting with the residents. We have gone eight times over the last few years—we enjoy it so much! Be a Caller, Runner, Checker, or just a Player.
Happy New Year everyone! I don’t know about all of you but the word excitement occupies my life right now. It started in Advent and hasn’t stopped. I’m not going to apologize for how many times you see the word excitement or some form of it in this letter. Excited, excited, excited!!! Excitement!
It all started in Advent, with its scripture readings and liturgies. Jesus was coming again! The excitement, the anticipation of yet another Christmas was before me. How was I going to change this year? Would I learn anything new?
Note the early start time!
PIN this date on your calendar. There’ll be fun to SPARE! It’s only $15 for 2 games and shoes and pizza and pop. Meet in the Teen Room at 6:15pm, or right after the (first) 5:00 PM Sunday Mass, so we can leave on time. Permission Forms and $15 may be turned in the night of the event.
Join us for a fun-filled, fast-paced, fantastically-good event! High School Teens, 8th Graders, and all their Parents are invited to this Outstanding Outreach.
