Minister of Care Ministry Minimize

When Christians are sick, their brothers and sisters share a ministry of mutual charity and do all that they can to help, by showing love for the sick, and by celebrating the sacraments with them.

This ministry was established to assist the pastor in caring for the sick and homebound of the parish community. Ministers of Care bring the Eucharist to these parishioners in order to connect them to our Sunday liturgies. It is our intent to bring the love and peace of Jesus Christ and the care and concern of the parish community to those in need.

Ministry of Care Training
Archdiocesan Ministry of Care training will take place on March 5 and 12 at Transfiguration Parish in Wauconda.

If you are interested in learning more about our Ministry of Care program and how you can serve the elderly or sick in our parish, contact Bob Steinmeier at 847-362-1005.
