Caring Hearts and Hands Minimize

Helping Caregivers

Caring Hearts and Hands was designed to help those parishioners who find it necessary to stay at home in order to care for a loved one in need of constant care. Caring Hearts and Hands Ministers provide respite care for caregivers, allowing caregivers some free time for themselves, or to run errands, etc. Our volunteers will stay with your loved one while you, the caregiver, shop for groceries, run errands, or simply take a break from daily care giving.

Helping Homebound

We also provide aid to the homebound. We make friendly visits, pick up prescriptions, shop for groceries and help with household chores for parishioners who are confined to their homes or in need of assistance.

Time Commitment for Volunteers

Hours are flexible. This ministry is open to any parishioner who has time during the day or evenings, and has an avid interest in people. Most of our volunteers are not medically trained. We are simply your friends in time of need.
